Tutorial Details:

In this busy and mechanical lifestyle, we are making prominent developments in different aspects of our life, but we’re diverting our attention from this great nature and its glory and beauty that’s always been a source of inspiration, peace, and love. There may be different scenarios in which we can be close to nature such as landscapes, birds, mountains, rivers, clouds etc. The list of the gifts of nature is endless, but we have tried to capture them from our perspective in the best way we can. But only thinking a great idea can’t give you the desired results if you don’t know the way to implement it. So through this tutorial, we have used some helpful tools such as Filters, Color, Brushes, Transform Tool as well as our creative skills to give shape and color to our imagination. So let’s go ahead working on it.

Getting Started

Step 1:

First we need to draw a new stage with size of 1000px X 1000px as we have done below.

Step 2:

Now, fill the background with light sky color to start with this tutorial.
Note: Make sure that you have adjusted the foreground color with Sky color in Tool Pallet.

Step 3:

Now create a new layer through layer pallet option as shown below.

Step 4:

Now we are going to use a new Filter and I hope you will like this:
1. Select the new layer as we have done in the above step.
2. Then Open the >Filter Menu.
3. Through >Filter Menu, choose the option "Flaming Pear."
4. Then select the Sub Filter "LunarCell" as you can see below.

Step 5:

When you select this Filter, you will get a menu to set the values in it as you can see below. So fix the values in it to get the desired look.

Step 6:

Now, again do the same process with Filter Menu and select the Flexify 2 Filter and select the values to get the look of mountains. Through this filter, you will get the required look of mountains as we have done below.

Step 7:

Now create a new layer through Layer Pallet option as we have done in the below step.

Step 8:

Then, again follow the same process on this layer as we have done above in Filter menu.
1. Select the new layer.
2. Apply the Lunar Cell Filter form the >Filter Menu as we have done in the above step.

Step 9:

When you select the value in the above Filter, you will get the image of Earth as you can see below. Now apply the same Flexify 2 Filter on this layer.

Step 10:

Through the above process you will get the image of mountains as required for a great landscape. Now, merge both layers as we have done below:
1. Select both layers through Link option.
2. Open >Layer Menu and select the Merge option.

Step 11:

Now you can see that we have a beautiful mountain range to work on.

Step 12:

Now we need the image of the mountain to be reflected in a lake as shown below and so we are going to use a new Filter again. Open the > Filter Manu and select the Flood Filter as you can see below.
1: Select the Mountain layer first.
2. Open the Filter > Menu.
3. Choose Flaming Pear option in > Filter Menu.
4. Then apply the Flood Filter.

Step 13:

Now fix the values in Flood Filter to get the desired look of water with mountains.

Step 14:

Now you can see that we have a nice image of mountains and water on the stage.

Step 15:

Now, it's time to use some great Brushes so do the process as follows:
1. Create a new layer through Layer option.
2. Select the Brush Tool from Tool Pallet.
3. Select the right Brush as per our requirement as we have used some grass effect Brush.

Step 16:

Now it's time to apply the Brush on the stage as we have done below.

Step 17:

Now apply some Layer style option on the grass layer.
1. Select the Layer style option from Layer Pallet.
2. Apply the Gradient Color option in the pallet.
3. Then click on the color option.

Step 18:

1. Fix the left color to Dark Green.
2. Fix the right Color to some light Green.
3. You can choose the colors from the color pallet as we have done below.

Step 19:

Now create a Duplicate Layer from the layer pallet. Also you can do the same process from the >Layer Menu.

Step 20:

Again, work on the layer style to change the color options:
1. Select the layer style from layer pallet.
2. Select the Gradient Color option.
3. Change the color with some Red color.
4. Now we have created a combination of Green and Red color as you can see below.

Step 21:

Then make a combination of both layers and use the Free Transform Tool option to give some height.
1. Select the both layers as we have selected.
2. Use the Free Transform Tool or press (Ctrl+T) option to make some adjustment with height.

Step 22:

Create a new layer from the layer pallet.

Step 23:

Again, we are going to use some more brushes.
1. Select the new layer in layer pallet.
2. Select the Brush Tool from Tool pallet.
3. Now select a flower Brush from the Brush pallet.

Step 24:

As you can see below, we have created some flowers on the grass with the help of Flower Brush Tool. Now create the Duplicate Layer from duplicate option or we can do this from Layer Menu.

Step 25:

Now, again open the layer style option from the layer pallet and apply the Gradient color over flowers.
1. Select the layer style option from layer pallet.
2. Apply Gradient Color on Flower layer.

Step 26:

Now, you can see that we have created some nice and attractive flowers and grass on the artwork.

Step 27:

Now select the new layer first and create a new layer as we have done below.
1. Select the Background layer
2. Now create a new layer form the layer pallet option as we have shown in the below step.

Step 28:

Open the >Filter menu and select the Render option from it to create some clouds on the background.
1. Select the new layer.
2. Fix the foreground color to sky blue.
3. Open the >Filter menu and select the Render option for clouds, it will give us the clouds look on background.

Step 29:

Now you can see that we have created some nice clouds in the background.

Step 30:

Now again create a new layer from the layer pallet as we have done the same in above steps.

Step 31:

Now again we will use some good Brushes.
1. Select the new layer.
2. Select the Brush Tool from the Tool Pallet.
3. Select the "Whooping Crane" Brush from the option.

Step 32:

Again, we will follow the same process and this time we will use "Ibis Bird" Brush from the option.

Step 33:

Using the same process, we are using the "Eagles Flight" Brush.

Step 34:

And now we can some Group Eagles Flight birds from the option to give our poster a more likely look.
Note: We have followed the same process as we have done in the above steps.

Step 35:

Now you can see that we have created a nice landscape image on the artwork.

Step 36:

Use some more layers to put the birds in our artwork as we have done below.

Step 37:

You can see below we are trying to give some real natural effects to our artwork. So we have placed the birds as per our creativity to give it a more natural feel.

Step 38:

Now create some trees using the same process.
1. Create a new layer in layer pallet.
2. Select the Brush Tool in Tool Pallet.
3. Select the required trees as per our creativity.

Step 39:

As you can see, we have created outline of a tree from the above option.

Step 40:

Make the necessary changes with its shape as we have done below. We have used Polygonal Lasso Tool to maker the changes.

Step 41:

Now draw a tree shape with help of Polygonal Lasso Tool as you can see below.
1. Select the Polygonal Lasso Tool from the Tool Pallet.
2. Make the upper part shape of the tree through this tool.

Step 42:

Now fill colors in this shape to fill it.
1. Fix the foreground color first.
2. Select the Paint Bucket Tool from the Pallet.
3. Fill the color in the selected area.

Step 43:

Now open the layer style from the layer pallet and select the texture option as you can see below. Also apply some Drop shadow and Bevel on the layer.

Step 44:

Now it’s time to make the bottom part of tree. Make the color combination that suits to our tree bottom.
1. Select the tree bottom layer.
2. Open the layer style option from the layer pallet.
3. Select the Gradient Color option and fix the values.
4. Make sure you have fix the color combination as per requirement.

Step 45:

Now select both layers and merge them through the >Layer menu option as you can see below.
1. Select both layers.
2. Open the >Layer Menu and select Merge option from it.

Step 46:

Now Open >Edit Menu and select the Free Transform Tool to make some adjustments with it and fix the size in our artwork.

Step 47:

As we have used some great Brushes above here, we are using some more brushes for our Fairies.
1. Create a new layer from the layer pallet.
2. Select the Brush Tool from the Tool Pallet.
3. Select the Fairies as per our requirements.

Step 48:

Follow the same process and use some Flower Brushes from the option.

Step 49:

Draw some nice Flowers on the grass as we have done below to decorate our artwork. It will give a more natural and attractive look to our artwork.
Note: Make sure you have created a new layer from the Layer pallet to put these Brushes.

Step 50:

Then use some Swril Brushes Effect, you can see below we are following the same process as we have done above.

Step 51:

Now create the duplicate layer of the Fairies layer from layer pallet.

Step 52:

Select the copy layer and open >Edit Menu and select the Transform Tool with Flip Horizontal option. Now we can adjust the size of the copy layer somewhere in the clouds.

Step 53:

As you can see, we have adjusted the size of the Fairies in clouds so as to show them flying in the sky.

Step 54:

Do some final adjustments in the artwork like make a copy of the tree and paste to make it more beautiful.

Step 55:

Now we are going to create the sun in the sky, so do the same process for right Brushes and paste on the artwork.

Step 56:

As you can see, we have created the sun through above Brush Tool and we have filled it with white color.
Note:- Make sure that you have fix the orange color in the background color of Tool Pallet.

Step 57:

Now to give some glow to our Sun:
1. Select the sun layer and open >Filter menu to select the Luce Filter from it.
2. Select the Luce Filter from L'amico Perry option.

Step 58:

Fix the values in this Filter to give the glow to our sun so it will look more bright and beautiful.

Step 59:

Now give some layer style to Sun layer.
1. Select the sun layer
2. Open the layer style from layer pallet.
3. Give some outer glow with red color as we have done below.

Step 60:

Now you can see that our artwork is looking nice and lively as we have performed a few creative and technical methods and put in our best efforts. We can certainly try more things in it, but we need to work our imagination in the right direction as to make it more glorified and natural.
